EDI CON China 2018 Breaks Records in Beijing

Attendance and exhibition space reached record highs in the show’s sixth year.

April 18, 2018 (Norwood, MA.) - EDI CON China 2018 enjoyed a year of record growth in both attendance and exhibition space March 20-22, 2018 at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing, China. In its sixth year, EDI CON CHINA continues to be the largest microwave and high-speed digital design conference and exhibition in China.

This year’s event saw a 20% increase in exhibition space and 15% increase in attendance. Individual conference session attendance saw an average increase of 60%, with the majority of attendees returning over the course of multiple days. Space is already being booked for the 2019 event, and is on a record pace for returning exhibitors.

"We continue to be very pleased with the response to EDI CON CHINA," said Ivar Bazzy, President of Horizon House, the conference's organizer. "The energy and enthusiasm of the attendees is fantastic to experience, as they look to learn about new products and techniques from the world’s leading experts in their fields."

The technical sessions were organized around tracks focused on 5G, test and measurement, radar/communications, amplifiers, RF/microwave, measurement and modeling, signal integrity, and power integrity. The exhibition included more than 100 exhibitors, including Host Sponsor Keysight Technologies, Diamond Sponsor Rohde & Schwarz, and Corporate Sponsor National Instruments.

Next year's event, EDI CON China 2019, will be held at the CNCC in Beijing, China on April 16-18. More information, including an application to exhibit, is available at www.ediconchina.com.

Celebrating its seventh year in 2019, EDI CON China uniquely brings together RF, microwave, EMC/EMI, and high-speed digital design engineers and system integrators for networking, training, and learning opportunities. Attendees come to EDI CON to find solutions, products, and design ideas that they can put into immediate practice for today's communication, consumer electronics, aerospace, and medical industries.

Drawing attendees from both the analog and digital spheres, EDI CON enables designers to see techniques and technologies used in other applications that could be applied or adapted to solve their latest design challenges. The exhibition hall features product displays, demonstrations, and poster sessions while the conference hosts educational talks and workshops that address all aspects of design, simulation, test, and verification.
